1. Insert an SD card into the controller (the SD card slot is under a grey-covered flap on the right).
2. From the Home screen, tap the icon in the top-left of the screen that looks like 3 horizontal bars
3. Tap the “Settings” icon (it looks like a gear wheel, second-bottom on the left)
4. Tap “Apply to All” (on the top right)
5. Tap the “Explorer” icon (second from right)
6. Tap “Home” (near top left)
7. Tap “Internal Memory”
8. Scroll up to the “DJI” folder (by dragging your finger upwards on the white part of the screen)
9. Tap on “DJI”
10. Tap on the folder named “dji.prof.mg.gsp”
11. Tap on the folder named “LOG”
12. The flight record files should be in a folder named “tcp_769” or similar. Tap on this folder
13. DJI flight records are named with the following convention: DJIFlightRecord_YYYY-MM-DD_[XX-XX-XX].txt YYYY = year, MM = month, DD = day of the flight. Use this info to scroll to the flight record you need
14. Once you’ve found the record(s) you need, tap “Multi” (top right of screen)
15. Tap on each of the flight records you require. When you have selected a flight record, the text of the filename should change colour from black to yellow
16. Once you have selected all the flight records you require, tap “Editor” (top right of screen), then tap “Copy” on the pop-up menu that appears
17. Navigate back to Explorer’s Home screen, either by tapping “Home” (near top left), or by repeatedly tapping “LevelUp”, until you get back to the screen that shows “Internal Memory”, “SD Card”, and “USB”.
18. Tap on “SD card”
19. Tap on the folder you want to save the flight records to
20. Tap on “Editor”
21. Tap on “Paste” from the pop-up menu
22. Once this is completed, power the controller off
23. Remove the SD card from the controller
24. Place the SD card into your laptop. If your laptop doesn’t have an SD card slot, you will need a USB-to-SD-card adaptor, available on eBay etc
25. The flight record can be viewed by using the DJI Flight Log Viewer tool (Google it!)
26. Enjoy!
