Commercial Real Estate / Property Development

The property sector often has very specific subjects of interest that they wish to capture in a drone shot. The drone photo essentially becomes the platform that conveys the location proximity of various nearby facilities to the buyer. The context of what’s in the frame is key. How this is done is critically important to the sale. There are also typically various external property features that will need to be captured, as they will look better from an elevated perspective, than in a ground shot.

Property developers will want to capture certain features of buildings and development sites, to create marketing images and artist’s impressions. So getting the “right” shots to capture the focal points of the development, is key. These shots may be required before, during, and after each development phase.

The logistics of drone photography in this sector can be very challenging. Customers require shots to be taken from certain angles and/or certain locations, but the ideal location to get these shots from is often not a legal or safe option.

Highlighting certain features or nearby facilities doesn’t just depend on getting the right shot. These things need to “pop” off the page to really stand out, if they are to attract a buyer’s attention.

Finally, some clients may have an idea in their head of how a shot should look, but do not know how to adequately describe this to the pilot. Having a degree of interactivity to enable the client to work more closely with the pilot whilst on-site, is key to overcoming these difficulties!
